On Earth Hartford is a vibrant celebration of the Earth and a reward for all the civic engagement and volunteerism around Earth Day.
In 2023 On Earth was hosted at Pope Park West on April 22nd. On Earth is a mini festival featuring workshops, music, local foods, vendors and so, so much more.

On Earth 2022
On Earth, 2022 was hosted at The Keney Park Sustainability project and included vendors, farmers, food trucks, music, workshops and more.
Our partner, The Connecticut River Conservancy hosted a volunteer opportunity planting trees the morning of On Earth at Keney Park. They also lead a panel discussion on Tree Equity within Hartford.
Access was free to those who participated in local volunteer opportunities. We partnered with KNOX, KSPS, CT River Conservancy, Real Art Ways, Natural Dividends & more to promote volunteer happenings throughout the city and provided residents access to opportunities they may not have been aware of.
On Earth 2021
On Earth 2021 was a free and virtual online event that featured disunions from local evniromnetal leads, DJ sets and more! You can watch it below. The idea of On Earth is to create an opportunity to build on and grow civic engagement in the amazing sustainability work happening in the region, by creating an arts and culture driven Earth Day celebration.
